I happened upon this App while searching for ye ole Radio Shack SPL meter. The Radio Shack meter worked surprisingly well with extreme accuracy for its low price point. Weighted Option and extras come in handy for recording or calibrating audio equipment.

For a quick and easy download, I have to say, this tool comes in handy. Although it doesnt have the options nor the accuracy of the Rat Shack meter, what else can you ask for with something that is free? At least I can get volume level in the "Ball Park" or close enough, until it sounds good by ear.
